England cricket team will visit the Caribbean in 2017 for a three-match ODI series. Three official matches between the teams of England and West Indies will be played from 03 to 09 March 2017. The first two matches will be played in Antigua and the third in Barbados. The short ODI series will help England in the preparations of Champions Trophy, a competition for which West Indies could not qualify.
The England team is planned to land in St Kitts on 22 February, where they will play two warm-up matches against a WICB President’s XI. Then they will go to Antigua for playing two ODIs at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on 03 and 05 March. The two-week trip will end with a third ODI at Kensington Oval in Barbados on 09 March. West Indies is all the time a well-known trip place to go for British cricket lovers and we believe as many fans as possible will go to the Caribbean for showing their support for the England team.
After visiting the Caribbean in March 2017, England team will host West Indies for cricket series in which they will play the matches of all three formats from 17 August to 29 September 2017. Three Tests, five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and one Twenty20 International (T20I) have been scheduled for the West Indies’ tour of England. After playing Tests and the T20I, both the teams will play five-match ODI series from 19 to 29 September. First ODI will be played at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester on 19 September. Second match will be played on 21 at Trent Bridge in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. The two teams will be in front of each other in third ODI on 24 at Bristol County Ground in Bristol. Both the team will play fourth game at The Oval in London on 27th. The fifth and last ODI will be played on 29 September at Ageas Bowl in Hampshire. England and West Indies cricket teams have faced each other in 88 ODIs, from which England have won 42, West Indies could also manage 42 wins and 4 matches were ended without any result.
